  1. Daily Academic Support— Step-By-Step Teaching

Every day, our skilled teachers clearly break down every academic topic Acers come across in their schoolwork and ACE work, teaching them to ask questions, understand each step, and always show their work.

Acers learn to study carefully: show their math work, check their grammar, always write neatly, solve step-by-step, and more! We want our students to master everything they study and take pride in their work.

2. Monthly Goals & Projects- Productive Achievements Every Day

Every month, our ACE teachers set Guided Monthly Goals for each Ace student by closely monitoring each Acer’s academic weaknesses through Renaissance, ACE Assessments, and schoolwork.

Our tutors help build missing foundational skills and intelligent habits, such as typing/penmanship, algebra proficiency, strong reading and grammar habits, and more.

Acers also enjoy special ACE events, such as Entrepreneurship Day, Spelling Bees, Holiday Showcases, and more, that students can prepare for after finishing homework.

3. After-School ACE Classes- Building Real World Skills that Last for Life

Acers can also enroll in our wide selection of Academic, Music, and Enrichment special ACE classes.

From music, journalism, abacus, creative writing, resume-building, and more, we educate Acers beyond the standard school curriculum, spark curiosity, and build foundational academic and college-ready skills.

TK/Kindergarten

EARLY MATH, PHONICS, & READING MASTERY
To be ready for 1st grade, we teach ACE Kindergartners a strong foundation in reading, speaking, writing and math.

  • Word sense and reading ability is mastered using Daily Phonics, Guided Reading, and handwriting/spelling practice.

  • Number sense, counting, and early problem-solving are taught using hands-on, creative tools and activities.

Elementary

ASSESSMENTS & MONTHLY PROGRESS TRACKING
Every month, we carefully track growth and create guided monthly goals for each student to prepare them for excellence, without falling behind at their grade level.

  • Every semester, our students take a grade-level Ace Assessment, and we note their academic strengths and weaknesses, with report cards sent back home.

  • As our teachers closely check homework and help prepare students for tests every day, we identify areas for improvement (ex. typing/handwriting skills, algebra efficiency, reading comprehension, essay writing, etc.) to work on through monthly goals.

“About 70% of elementary students are not reading at a proficient level, and over 60% are below proficiency in math (NAEP – Nation’s Report Card, 2024 ).” At ACE Academy, we know that it is more important than ever for our elementary students to develop important foundations and strive for stand-out academic excellence!

  • Our top priority is making sure our youngest students are safe and watched over.

    • We guarantee constant teacher supervision and safety precautions for our youngest students.

    • We train our Kindergarten teachers to help our youngest students behave safely and responsibly during all classroom and breaktimes to avoid getting hurt.

Junior High/High School

COLLEGE & FUTURE PREP— STARTING NOW

Through consistent GPA management and college-prep classes, we push our oldest students toward the college path with confidence and preparation!

  • We regularly review each ACE student’s grades using Aeries, Infinite Campus, and other school reporting platforms so we can quickly identify challenges and help students stay on track for success.

  • Through our Grades 7-12 classes, we aim to give our students a needed boost to excel in high school’s hardest Advanced classes, and in their college applications.

    We highly recommend our college preparation and individual subject classes, such as—

    These classes are structured to recreate the rigor and pace of a college class (syllabi, capstones, formal writing, Socratic seminars, etc.)

  • We recommend Abacus for younger students to build up math number visualization, Journalism for middle grades to practice proper reporting and writing habits, and Building Your Application, our college consulting class, for high schoolers. See more about our classes here!
    All our extra classes are open to both Ace students and outside students — but regular Ace students get a discount!

  • Our average class size is 8 students per teacher, allowing for close attention and personalized support.

  • Because our teacher to student ratios are small, Ace Staff closely monitor every student’s growth and understanding. We partner with testing resources such as Renaissance, Khan Academy, and Read Theory, alongside our own ACE Assignments / Assessments to take note of improvements or weaknesses.

    For many of our classes and all our private tutoring students, we also provide monthly progress reports so parents can see how their child is improving.

  • Yes! Students can join anytime. For very specific or individualized needs, we may recommend private tutoring to help them catch up smoothly.

  • Our teachers are carefully selected for both skill and personality. They’re trained to meet Ace’s high standards: giving clear explanations, close guidance, and personal attention to every student. All staff are background-checked and professionally trained.

  • Yes! Our music classes run on weekends, so students can play, learn, and make noise freely. We also are currently offering Art Classes on the weekend as well. Check our Classes page for the weekend schedule. We may be opening more classes on the weekends at Ace Academy soon!

  • We pride ourselves on open communication. Parents can talk directly with teachers anytime about any specific concerns or to hear about their student, and will receive detailed progress reports for private tutoring.
